The course in brief
- Duration: Two years
- Hours: 2,000 hours, of which 1,200 classroom hours and 800 hours of internship.
- Qualification obtained: Senior Technician EQF (European Qualification Framework) Level 5.
- Partners: Companies in the sports district of Asolo and Montebelluna including: Vibram, Lotto, Lumberjack and Franco Tucci.
- Project work: during the second year, the students are engaged in the completion of a project, carried out in close collaboration with a company and presented during the final exam.
During the two-year period, students will have the opportunity to participate in Fairs and Industry Events, educational visits to companies in the industry, thematic Workshops, and workshop activities carried out directly within the companies.
Who is the
Sport System Technician
The Sport System Higher Technician is an individual who is specialised in the design and manufacture of footwear , components and sports accessories. They participate in the creation of projects , models and prototypes of the sample, collaborate in the industrialisation of the product and carry out their activities with the most innovative 2D and 3D CAD technologies and with rapid prototyping systems.
They study the processing of project data, the management of technical product and process documentation , the organisation and coordination of production in quality and safety. They also have the marketing and advertising skills necessary to position themselves operationally within the sports area.
SUBJECTS AND WORKSHOPS
Concept, design, development
After acquiring the basics of research, innovation and analysis of new trends, the student learns to conceive and represent a new product with the graphic programs Photoshop and Illustrator and the 2D and 3D design and prototyping programs. They practice in cutting and assembly laboratories
Industrialization and production
The student learns to define the production plan of the product through knowledge of both production techniques and machines, equipment and new production technologies.
Advertising and marketing
The sports shoe design course also teaches students how to advertise, convey and enhance the product designed and manufactured in the reference area through marketing and business management skills.
