The course in brief

  • Duration: Two years
  • Hours: 2,000 hours, of which 1,200 classroom hours and 800 hours of internship.
  • Qualification obtained: Senior Technician EQF (European Qualification Framework) Level 5.
  • Aziende partner: Lotto, CMP, Dainese and others.
  • Project work: during the second year, the students are engaged in the completion of a project, carried out in close collaboration with a company and presented during the final exam.

During the two-year period, students will have the opportunity to participate in Fairs and Industry Events, educational visits to companies in the industry, thematic Workshops, and workshop activities carried out directly within the companies.

Who is
the Sportswear Product Manager

The SPORTSWEAR PRODUCT MANAGER is a professional individual who is highly specialised in the  creation, design and production of activewear  and technical clothing with a particular focus on all the processes of creation of the product and, therefore, from the design phase of the creation's development process to its production.

The ActiveWear Manager will also be able to advertise the product through innovative marketing strategies. Fundamental to the SPORTSWEAR PRODUCT MANAGER is the research/development of sustainable products. They will be able to interface with the various players in the textile/fashion industry. Consequently, the manager of tomorrow must have a critical and innovative approach to the choice and innovation of new materials, products and new industrial processes, making the best use of the resources of the territory.

Theoretical foundation

The basic knowledge will focus on the history of fashion, design, style and the marketing and business economics knowledge required to navigate today's market.


Learning traditional tailoring techniques as well as the most innovative in terms of technical clothing tailoring, such as heat-bonded taping and ultrasound stitching,  is fundamental for this role.


At the end of the course of study, there is a consultancy project and group work on specific needs of the partner companies. The development of a collection or an ad hoc research project.
