The course in brief
- Duration: Two years.
- Hours: 2,000 hours, of which 1,200 classroom hours and 800 hours of internship.
- Qualification obtained: Senior Technician EQF (European Qualification Framework) Level 5.
- Partners: Prominent advertising agencies, publishing houses and press offices in the fashion advertising sector.
- Project work: during the second year, the students are engaged in the completion of a project, carried out in close collaboration with a company and presented during the final exam.
Who is the
Fashion stylist
The Fashion Stylist is the image exper who defines and promotes the identity of a brand or a collection of the fashion industry. Their task is to impress, with a recognisable, impactful personality and to consistently articulate it on all occasions: during shooting, advertising campaigns, fashion shows or in the specialised press.
The Fashion Styling and Communication course trains a professional individual who combines creativity and aesthetic taste with skills in fashion culture (sociology, fashion history and photography), marketing and digital advertising. They work as a consultant in the style and design offices of fashion companies or collaborate with fashion publishing magazines or photographers during projects.
SUBJECTS AND WORKSHOPS
Trend research and advertising
The course aims to develop the student's aesthetic sense and creativity through the analysis and research of trends and the study of the history and culture of fashion. The student learns to create a communications plan and to write texts for publishing, including through storytelling. They become familiar with advertising , both from the point of view of strategy and planning.
Fashion styling
Ample space is dedicated to the design and execution of a styling project with photoshoots.
Web Marketing e Digital PR
The Fashion Communication and Styling course addresses every aspect of web marketing , from web copywriting , to email marketing , to managing social media campaigns and e-commerce platforms. In addition, the student practices Digital PR in the press office activity through social media channels and in the processing of digital content for brand advertising campaigns.
