THE COURSE IN BRIEF

  • Duration: Two years.
  • Hours: 2,000 hours, of which 1,200 classroom hours and 800 hours of internship.
  • Qualification obtained: Senior Technician EQF (European Qualification Framework) Level 5.
  • Partner companies: Among others, Elimpia Srl, Lea News Production Srl, Simona Bruno Photo, Studio Castelli ADV, Mondored.
  • Project work: during the second year, the students are engaged in the completion of a project, carried out in close collaboration with a company and presented during the final exam.

During the two-year period, students will have the opportunity to participate in Fairs and Industry Events, educational visits to companies in the industry, thematic Workshops, and workshop activities carried out directly within the companies.

The Digital Video Maker  is a central figure in today's multimedia communications, a visual culture of image and video, increasingly faster but no less complex.

The foundation of the video maker's skills is the ability to interpret the image  and build on storytelling thanks to the most advanced technologies.This individual determines the success of current marketing strategies , fashion campaigns and more, translating the messages and values of a brand into complex and structured video products.

SUBJECTS AND WORKSHOPS

Theoretical foundatio

The theoretical modules focus on the knowledge of the video product, from its production to direction.  The core courses will address advertising in its most current aspects: web marketing and the storytelling of new media , to provide the means for the correct setting and execution of fashion strategies.

CORE WORKSHOPS

The basis of a video story is the shooting and management of technique through lighting, optics and framing. Another element of production is sound. The sound management and post-production workshop.

ADVANCED WORKSHOPS

Directing and production techniques , not only in the workshop but in "external" environments, to train in the reality of filming and "train the eye".

The editing  workshop that takes advantage of the most advanced tools and programs for video development is essential.
